KYPN Volunteer Opportunity and Committee Meeting
Saturday, April 10, 2010 –Green Up Keene; 8am – Noon

Join the KYPN Team to help pick-up litter in downtown Keene. We’ll meet at Railroad Square at 8am to pick-up bags and other supplies before heading out to clean-up litter along West St. This event is sponsored by the City of Keene.

At Noon: Meet at Fritz on Main St. for our first KYPN Community Committee Meeting
After Green Up Keene, come share your vision for how the KYPN Community Committee can bring more volunteerism to our group.

On Thursday, February 4, 2010, the American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Greater Keene will officially get underway as event volunteers and participants gather at Bentley Commons at 197 Water Street in Keene at 7:00 pm for a kick-off rally to launch their fundraising efforts for the year.

The Keene Downtown Group (KDG) joins other nation-wide groups in declaring the week of July 1-7, 2009 Keene Independents Week. KDG will celebrate our independence by kicking off the Keene Buy Local Initiative: 10% Shift Challenge during this week.
