Keene Young Professionals Network

We've had a really good week getting off the ground. The Keene Sentinel (http://www.keenesentinel.com) ran an article in last weekend's business section that gave us a boost. We've added somewhere close to 40 "members" this past week to the website. This is a great site and we've calculated up to 400 potential members regionally.

The Greater Keene Chamber of Commerce (http://www.keenechamber.com) also sent an email blast to its membership announcing the group which gave us a slight boost. Great stuff...

With most of the current networking groups and events in the Keene area, I find that the majority of the members are older. Of course this isn't a bad thing, but I think most will agree you find a lot more to talk about, and it's a little easier, when the attendees are closer to your age.

I'm very excited about this group and I hope it flourishes, there are a lot of younger professionals in the area and I hope to see them all at Margaritas on June 6th!

Well it would appear that I get the benefit of posting the first blog article (because we created the site). :) Just want to welcome everyone to the KeeneYPN website. There has been a TON of interest in the Young Professionals Network for Keene and we're pretty excited to get it off the ground.
