Generation Y? X? Baby Boomer? How does this affect you in the workplace?

I am a local Realtor, affiliated with The Masiello Group here in Keene. Some of you came to my workshop at Antioch on First Time Homebuying last spring. Others of you I know through business relations. Yet others I have not met but would love the opportunity to pick your brain.

I'm looking for some help from you with completing a project I am doing for my studies at Antioch in Organization Development and Management. Currently in my second year, I am putting together a practicum with focus on generational differences in the workplace.

What I am hoping for is an interest from all different perspectives, all generations and from a diverse working background. I am putting together a survey which will begin some discussion around this topic, and need to know if any of your might have an interest in sharing your experiences and participating in what should be a very interesting study. The outcomes of this will hopefully help all of us involved, as well as others from our region, become better aware of the changes in the workplace as a result of the various generational needs and motives for work.

Would you be interested in participating? Your participation will involve completing a survey, participating in a one on one or group discussion, and being involved with the final outcome of my research. I know for me, in my workplace, the real estate industry is changing rapidly. Having been in the business for 7 years now, there is question about how to attract and retain younger workers. Here lies my interests for my project so that any business can be sustainable despite different work-styles and expectations.

PLEASE EMAIL ME WITH YOUR INTEREST IN PARTICIPATING:

Or call with questions at 209-4151.

I would also like to get the word out to as many people as possible, locally. I welcome you to email this to your sphere of influence, friends, family so that they can be involved.

**I hope to begin the survey process in October.

Thanks again, and remember, if you or someone you know is looking for real estate advice and services, please contact me at The Masiello Group: 283-1948 or cell: 209-4151.

Thank you.
