Hello All,

The Keene Cities for Climate Protection (CCP) Committee is sponsoring the 2009 Keene Green Business of the Year Award. This award seeks to recognize those businesses or organizations that have developed innovative and committed practices or programs resulting in environmental improvements, cost savings, energy conservation, environmental stewardship, greenhouse gas reductions, or resource use efficiency. The form can be accessed online at www.keenechallenge.com Feel free to nominate a business or organization that you think may fit the selection criteria or businesses and organizations can self-nominate. The form is fairly simple and we hope that you find it easy to use. Please also consider submitting supporting information for your submissions. Instructions for how and when to submit by are on the form itself. If you have any questions, please email them to greenbizaward@gmail.com

Depending upon the number and quality of submissions, the CCP Committee may elect to devise categories and award more than one award. So please share this others, post to list servs, bulletins, etc.

An award selection group will be devised to review and make the selection(s). Award winner(s) will be announced just after the New Year and the CCP Committee will honor the selected winner(s) with the Mayor and City Manager at an award and media event.
